The 14-second video opens with striking visuals of Kuala Lumpur before cutting to intense action moments featuring Rajinikanth. Explosions, bloodied hands and the superstar’s larger-than-life screen presence dominate the teaser-like announcement, before the Jailer 2 title appears against the iconic Petronas Towers skyline. The message is clear—the Tiger Muthuvel Pandian phenomenon is heading to Malaysia in full force.

Sun Pictures' post announced, “Malaysia, Get ready for the celebration!” while tagging Rajinikanth, director Nelson Dilipkumar, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and the principal cast and crew. Malik Streams will handle the film's Malaysia distribution, with screenings planned across the country as fans prepare for the much-awaited theatrical release.

Jailer 2 sees Rajinikanth return as the formidable Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, following the massive success of the 2023 original. The sequel brings together an impressive ensemble that includes Vidya Balan, who plays Kantha, along with SJ Suryah and Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu.
